Gheorghe Untu was born in Moldova in 1964, but moved to Italy on the threshold of the year 2000. He lives in Bracciano, not too far from Rome, where he works in solitude, almost isolated, as a foreigner in a foreign land.
He studied at the Arts School Repin of Chisinau (Moldova).
